Jeremy Mims

Dr. Jeremy Mims serves as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Winthrop University's Conservatory of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. He holds a D.M.A. in Conducting from University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, an M.M. from Hardin-Simmons University, and a B.M.E. from Hardin-Simmons University.

His areas of expertise include choral music, conducting, music education, and collaborative piano. He conducts the Winthrop Choirs and serves as Artistic Director of Caritas A Cappella Ensemble.

Notable achievements include conducting at Carnegie Hall (2018), receiving second place for Dale Warland Award (2022), and securing third place American Prize awards for both Winthrop Chamber Singers and Inspirar choir.
