Jeremy Farrell is a Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He earned his Ph.D. in Biology from RPI in 2013 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Darrin Fresh Water Institute until joining the faculty in 2018.

His research focuses on limnology and environmental science, particularly how lakes respond to invasive species, eutrophication, salinization, and climate change. Key projects include:
- ARMOR: Machine learning model to detect invasive species on boats
- Asian Clam Studies: Reproduction and growth monitoring in Lake George
Publications highlight expertise in nutrient pollution modeling, fluorometry calibration, and ecosystem recovery from acid deposition. He teaches courses like Introduction to Biology, Biostatistics, and Machine Learning for Environmental Biology.
