Jeremy Bowles

Jeremy Bowles is an Assistant Professor in Political Science and Public Policy at University College London. His research focuses on political economy in sub-Saharan Africa, examining elections, misinformation, and state-building. He earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford's King Center.

Research explores how information shapes political behavior and economic outcomes, with field experiments in Liberia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Projects investigate voter information access, fact-checking efficacy, and taxation systems.
