Jeremy Barthels

Jeremy Barthels is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Promotions and Associated Clinical Sciences at Northwestern Health Sciences University's College of Chiropractic. He teaches courses in Pathology and Physiology and holds degrees in Chiropractic (DC), Physiology (MS), and Biology (BS).

His research interests include clinical sciences, health promotion, and chiropractic education. He focuses on integrating pathology and physiology into holistic healthcare frameworks.

Scientific Awards:

• Chiropractic College Faculty Member of the Year (2022)

He serves as Chair of the Faculty Communication Committee and participates in the Curriculum Transformation Committee and Sustainability Committee. Barthels is also developing an educational website titled "The People Behind Diseases" to foster disease empathy through patient storytelling.
