Jeremie Bacon

Jeremie Bacon is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He combines his academic role with active entrepreneurship, education, advisory, and investment activities across software, recreation, media, and experiential hospitality & entertainment industries.

His research and teaching focus on entrepreneurship, particularly in early-stage technology ventures, business strategy, and venture capital. He has extensive experience in building companies across CRM, investor relations, portfolio management, marketing automation, and customer success domains.

Current ventures include an outdoor recreation and experiential hospitality business, a growth-stage consulting practice, and ecological restoration initiatives. He actively engages in civic leadership through board roles at 1871 and other non-profits, having previously led the Illinois Technology Association merger.
