Jeremiah R. Brown

Jeremiah R. Brown is a Professor of Epidemiology, Professor of The Dartmouth Institute, and Professor of Biomedical Data Science at Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine. He serves as Principal Investigator for multiple NIH-funded research initiatives and leads the Cardiovascular Outcomes team at The Dartmouth Institute.

Dr. Brown's research centers on cardiovascular epidemiology and health services innovation, with specialized focus on acute kidney injury prediction, risk modeling, and biomarker development. His work integrates molecular epidemiology with biomedical informatics to improve post-surgical outcomes and healthcare delivery systems.

He actively contributes to global clinical guidelines as a taskforce member for the Acute Kidney Injury Network, International Consortium of Evidence Based Perfusion, and Society for Thoracic Surgeons (leading their Renal workgroup). His scholarly impact spans over 110 publications in premier journals including New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Circulation.
