Jerald Thomas

Jerald Thomas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's College of Engineering & Applied Science. He holds a BS from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, an MS from the University of Southern California, and a PhD from the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on enhancing immersive technologies, including natural locomotion in VR, 3D user interactions, VR-assisted therapy, and immersive collaboration systems.

Research interests span virtual reality optimization, human-centered interaction design, and therapeutic applications of immersive technologies.
