Jenny Rodriguez-Fee is a Professor and Director of the Children’s Rights Clinic at Southwestern Law School. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA (2002) and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School (2008). Her work focuses on special education law, school discipline, disability benefits appeals, and clinical education. She teaches courses including the Children’s Rights Clinic, Advanced Children’s Rights Clinic, Disability Law, and Legal Profession, emphasizing problem-based learning to bridge theory and practice.
Professor Rodriguez-Fee is deeply involved in experiential learning, having designed curricula that simulate real-world legal challenges. She coached a Southwestern team to a Regional Championship at the 2024 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Her research explores the intersection of pandemic realities and educational access under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Her professional contributions include leadership roles in the Women’s Law Association and Public Interest Law Committee during her studies, and mentorship through the Children’s Rights Clinic, which she credits as foundational to her legal career.
