Professor Jennifer Westacott AC is currently the Chancellor of Western Sydney University, starting in January 2023, making her the first woman to hold this role. Previously, she served as Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia for 12 years, advocating for economic growth through business policies. Her career also includes senior leadership roles in the NSW and Victorian governments, such as Director General of the NSW Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources and Secretary of the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
