Dr. Jennifer Webb is an Adjunct Professor in the Archaeology Program at La Trobe University and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Cyprus (2017–present). She earned her BA(Hons) and PhD from the University of Melbourne, specializing in Late Bronze Age Cyprus through architectural and iconographic evidence for ritual practices. Her career includes teaching roles at the University of Adelaide, University of Melbourne, and La Trobe University, along with co-directing excavations at Marki, Deneia, and Politiko in Cyprus.
Research Interests: Dr. Webb's work focuses on Bronze Age Cyprus, with specific emphasis on ritual practices, metallurgy, subsistence economies, and excavation methodologies. Her studies integrate zooarchaeological and isotopic data to explore human-animal relationships, mortuary practices, and trade networks in the Eastern Mediterranean. She has contributed to understanding geomagnetic anomalies, pottery production, and socio-political structures during the Bronze Age.
