Jennifer Ward

Dr Jennifer Ward serves as Research Theme Manager for the Mental Health & Technology theme at the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Nottingham. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of clinical trials within her theme and plays a key liaison role between internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective research program delivery.

Her research interests focus on the integration of technology in mental healthcare, including digital assessment tools, telemedicine applications, and innovative intervention delivery systems. Working under Prof Richard Morriss (Professor of Psychiatry & Community Mental Health), she contributes to advancing mental health research through technological solutions and evidence-based clinical trial methodologies.

Dr Ward's work connects with the Centre's broader innovation initiatives, including the Nottingham Innovation Fund which supports collaborative research with industry partners and other Biomedical Research Centres to produce novel scientific advancements in healthcare.
