Jennifer Walinga

Professor Jennifer Walinga holds a dual background in elite athletics (Olympic rowing) and academia, combining organizational studies with sport theory. She leads the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University, focusing on leadership development and performance optimization. Her research bridges organizational communication, team dynamics, and creative problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on workplace health and sport education.

Education: PhD in Organizational Studies (University of Victoria, 2007), MA in Leadership (Royal Roads University, 2001), and prior teaching experience in Ontario. She operates consulting firm Integrated Focus, specializing in organizational interventions.
