Jennifer Sykes is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Computing at the Creative Computing Institute (CCI), University of the Arts London, teaching on the Diploma and Graduate Diploma programs. Her research focuses on how process and mistakes inform material practices in creative computing, emphasizing tangible tools for education. She develops custom software/hardware, including sensors and interactive installations for artists/designers, with recent commissions from BBC, Glasgow International, and Edinburgh Art Festival.

Teaching extends internationally with roles at Glasgow School of Art, Danish Royal Academy, Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, and Umeå Institute of Design. Collaborative projects include interactive installations for Yuri Suzuki and Sonica Festival.
