Jennifer Sullivan is a Professor at the Department of Physiology, Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, with additional roles as Dean of The Graduate School since 2021 and Associate Member of the Vascular Biology Center. Her research focuses on cardiovascular and renal physiology, particularly sex differences in hypertension, T regulatory cell mechanisms, and post-AKI pregnancy complications. She leads the ROAR (Rural, Obese, At Risk) initiative addressing cardiovascular risk in women.
Key awards include the 2023 GWIMS Leadership Award, 2021 AURI Distinguished Research Award, and 2013 Cardiorenal Study Section Co-Chair at the American Heart Association. Her lab investigates nitric oxide bioavailability, mitochondrial dysfunction, and immune system adaptations in post-AKI recovery.
