Jennifer Stimson, M.S., R.D., is a Lecturer and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) at San Francisco State University’s College of Health and Human Services. She earned her Master’s degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Georgia and completed a dietetic internship there. A registered dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Jennifer brings over five years of experience in programs like WIC, medical nutrition therapy for HIV/AIDS patients, and managing large-scale meal programs for children.
Her research and professional interests span nutrition education, public health dietetics, maternal and child nutrition, food insecurity, and community-based dietary interventions. She integrates practical expertise into her teaching, advising students on clinical and public health nutrition.
