Jennifer Stellar

Jennifer Stellar is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto's Mississauga campus (UTM), where she leads the Health, Emotions, and Altruism Lab (HEAL). Her academic background includes a PhD in Social-Personality Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

• Research Focus: Prosocial emotions (compassion, awe, elevation) and their role in empathy, altruism, group cohesion, and individual well-being.
