Jennifer Snyder

Dr. Jennifer Snyder is an Associate Professor of Art Education in the Department of Art & Design at Austin Peay State University. She holds an Ed.D from Florida State University and an M.A.Ed from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on art education history, curriculum development, and higher education administration. She has presented work at NAEA National Conferences and served as a Research Associate at Florida State University. Dr. Snyder currently serves as an elected Board Member of the Tennessee Art Education Association.

Her scholarly work includes critical examinations of historical figures like Milton Bradley and collaborative efforts in K-12 curriculum design. She has collaborated with Dr. Alyssia Ruggiero on studies about hiring practices in academia. Her office is located in Art + Design Building 227.
