Jennifer Severance, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine & Geriatrics at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC). She is also a member of the Institute for Healthy Aging. Her research focuses on geriatric education, age-friendly healthcare systems, and improving care for older adults through interprofessional teamwork. She holds a BA in Biology from Austin College, an MS in Long Term Care Administration from the University of North Texas, and a PhD in Applied Gerontology from UNT.
