Jennifer R. Brown, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and the Worthington and Margaret Collette Professor of Medicine in Hematologic Oncology at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in CLL research, clinical care, and translational medicine. Her work focuses on novel targeted therapies, CLL genomics, and inherited predispositions to leukemia.
Dr. Brown earned her B.S. and M.S. from Yale University, followed by her M.D. and Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Harvard Medical School. She completed residency and fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and DFCI. Since joining DFCI in 2004, she has led groundbreaking research in CLL, contributing to the development of therapies like idelalisib, ibrutinib, and zanubrutinib.
