Jennifer Pett-Ridge is Adjunct Professor at UC Merced and Senior Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's DOE Joint Genome Institute. She leads research on soil microbial communities using stable isotope probing and nanosims imaging.
Her work examines carbon cycling in bioenergy systems and climate impacts on soil microbiomes. Pett-Ridge directs DOE Genomic Science programs and earned the 2014 Early Career Award for tropical soil microbiome studies.
