Jennifer Mansfield is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Curriculum Teaching & Inclusive Education at Monash University. She transitioned from roles as a scientist and secondary school science teacher to specialize in pre-service teacher education. Her research focuses on teachers' professional knowledge development, science education as a human endeavor, and the nature of science. Mansfield leads or co-leads projects on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in STEM, practical work in science education, and cross-faculty studies on students' views of scientific inquiry.
