Jennifer M. Yoest

Jennifer M. Yoest, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. She joined University Hospitals (UH) in 2019 as faculty in the Division of Genomic and Molecular Pathology. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on molecular diagnostics and precision medicine.

Education: Earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Genetics emphasis) from the University of Kansas (2009), followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (2014). Completed a Post-Sophomore Fellowship in Pathology during medical school.

Training: Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UPMC (2018), followed by a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine (2019).

Research Interests: Molecular test development, immune-related adverse events in cancer immunotherapy, and molecular monitoring of acute myeloid leukemia. Active in translating genomic insights into clinical diagnostic applications.
