Jennifer Lovell

Dr. Jennifer Lovell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB). She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Her research focuses on health disparities, multicultural psychology, and community-based interventions, particularly among culturally diverse and low-income populations. She teaches courses on clinical psychology, service learning, and child health and wellness, emphasizing social justice and resilience.
