Jennifer Lee

Jennifer Lee, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County and State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, where she joined in 2022 after completing her medical training at Georgetown University.

Dr. Lee's research focuses on epidemiological studies of healthcare-associated infections and social determinants of health outcomes in HIV and hepatitis care. She is dedicated to reducing barriers to high-quality care for HIV patients and advancing health literacy through patient-centered communication and team coordination.

She actively teaches medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical microbiology courses and specialized lectures. Dr. Lee also directs the Travel Medicine clinic at Kings County, providing critical chemoprophylaxis and immunizations for tropical diseases to travelers.
