Dr. Jennifer L. Skeem is the Mack Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean of Research in Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a concurrent appointment as Professor of Public Policy. Her work bridges behavioral science and the justice system, focusing on legal decision-making for individuals with emotional/behavioral challenges. Key interests include mental health interventions for justice-involved populations, psychopathic personality assessment, and reducing disparities in sentencing through risk assessment practices.
