Jennifer Korecki

Jennifer Korecki is an Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at Kent State University's School of Theatre and Dance. She holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from Kent State University where she studied piano and accompanying with Lois Ozanich. Professor Korecki has directed and accompanied numerous musical theatre productions for local high schools, Weathervane Community Playhouse, Porthouse Theatre, and Kent State University.

She serves as accompanist and instructor for KSU Musical Theatre Performance Classes, Dance Classes, and Audition Repertoire Classes, while also accompanying auditions, master classes, and voice lessons throughout Northeast Ohio. Her recent work includes serving as Music Director for 'Tintypes' at Porthouse Theatre. Professor Korecki also serves as Education Coordinator for the Porthouse Academies and holds a Gifted Endorsement, remaining active in identifying gifted K-12 students in multiple Ohio counties.
