Jennifer K. Allen is Associate Professor in Literacy and Special Education at University of West Georgia's College of Education. Her research examines writing pedagogy, critical media literacy, and culturally responsive teaching. She holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Georgia and M.Ed. from University of West Georgia.
