Dr. Jennifer Jordan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine, Seattle. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Washington State University (2008) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Eastern Washington University (2012). Board certified in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialty (CCS), she focuses on hospital-based physical therapy for critically ill patients and early intervention strategies to improve functional outcomes. Her research includes adaptive climbing programs for clinical education and cardiovascular analysis in rock climbers.
Dr. Jordan has led grants for the Adaptive Rock Climbing Program at Eastern Washington University and serves on professional committees including the APTA Reference Committee. She received the Physical Therapist of the Year (2020) from APTA Washington and the Donna El-Din Distinguished Service Award (2024). Teaching responsibilities at Tufts include Cardiopulmonary Practice and Management of Medically Complex Patients.
