Jennifer Jennings serves as an Instructor in the Nursing department within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Curry College. A distinguished alumna of Curry College, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the institution. Currently, she is advancing her expertise by pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Regis College, with a specialized focus on nursing education.

Research and Clinical Interests
Professor Jennings' professional interests are deeply rooted in clinical nursing specialties and educational methodologies. Her extensive clinical background includes Med/Surg nursing, Emergency Medicine in a Level 1 Trauma center, and Critical Care within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), she also instructs in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). Her current DNP studies emphasize nursing education, reflecting her commitment to shaping the next generation of nurses through evidence-based teaching practices.
Professional Service and Mentoring
With a passion for teaching cultivated during her tenure as a preceptor for new nurses in the Emergency Department, Professor Jennings has mentored numerous staff members throughout her career. She brings this dedication to mentorship into the academic setting, having taught in the skills lab and Pharmacology for the Accel program, and will soon teach Nursing Concepts and Med/Surg 2. Her professional memberships include Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
