Jennifer Hunter

Jennifer Hunter is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Training in Psychology at The New School's Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts. Her expertise spans psychotherapy, clinical supervision, academic teaching, and professional service. She co-authored *Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Therapies* (2020, 2nd ed.) with Jeremy Safran and has extensive experience in clinical training, including founding the Mental Health Counseling program at Brooklyn College. She currently teaches courses such as Clinical Supervision & Consultation and Group Supervision in the graduate psychology programs.

Clinically, she integrates Relational Psychoanalytic and Family Systems approaches. Her professional roles include long-term service as a Clinical Supervisor in The New School's Counseling Center. Future courses include GPSY 7008 (Spring 2026) and GPSY 7031 (Fall 2025).
