About
Dr. Jennifer Hirschi is an Associate Professor and Graduate Chair in the Department of Chemistry at Binghamton University (SUNY). She holds a BS in Chemistry from Southern Utah University (1999) and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Texas A&M University (2007). Her research focuses on understanding reaction mechanisms in organic and enzymatic catalysis through computational and experimental methods. Key areas include asymmetric synthesis using chiral catalysts, photoredox catalysis, and transition state analysis to design efficient synthetic pathways.
