Jennifer Hart

Dr. Jennifer Hart is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Education at Curry College, where she serves as the First Year Coordinator. She is a religious studies scholar with a PhD from Indiana University, specializing in the religions of ancient Iran and the Mediterranean. Prior to joining Curry College, Dr. Hart held roles such as Director of First Year Experience and Retention Initiatives at Louisiana State University Shreveport, taught in the Core Curriculum at Elon University, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University.

Research Focus: Dr. Hart's expertise lies in the study of understudied but historically significant religious traditions from ancient Iran and the Mediterranean region. Her work bridges comparative religious studies, cultural history, and interdisciplinary liberal arts education.
