Jennifer Groscup

Jennifer Groscup is a Professor of Psychology at Scripps College, holding a JD and PhD from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her interdisciplinary research examines psychological factors in legal systems, focusing on how pre-existing attitudes affect perceptions of expert testimony, scientific evidence, and courtroom procedures.

Her work bridges psychological science with jurisprudence, investigating cognitive biases in legal decision-making and evidentiary evaluation. She teaches courses integrating psychological principles with legal applications.
