Jennifer Flitton Adams is an Associate Professor of Costume Design at Shenandoah University's Conservatory (Theatre Department). With an M.F.A. from the University of Illinois and a B.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, she specializes in costume construction, pattern drafting, and millinery. Her regional theatre work includes residencies at Allenberry Playhouse and collaborations with Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and Santa Fe Opera.
Her research focuses on practical and artistic aspects of theatrical costuming, including dyework and material innovation for performing arts.
