Jennifer Dineen is an Associate Professor In-Residence at the University of Connecticut, affiliated with the Department of Public Policy. She serves as Program Director for the Graduate Program in Survey Research, leveraging her expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods to advance studies in child well-being and public policy.
Her research focuses on critical areas such as access to mental health care, school choice, and curricular changes, with recent work examining school-based mental health practices in U.S. public schools. She contributes methodological expertise as a member of the CSCH steering committee and collaborates on securing grants for policy research.
Dr. Dineen holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Connecticut (2001), following an MA in Political Science (1994) and a BA from Marist College (1993). Her work is supported by grants, including a recent award from the Institute for Educational Sciences.
