Jennifer Dinalo serves as the Health Sciences Research and Data Librarian at the Norris Medical Library, University of Southern California (USC). In this role, she provides critical support for research data discovery, management, analysis, and visualization while ensuring compliance with funder mandates and promoting research rigor, reproducibility, and transparency across health sciences.

Her educational background includes:

• BS in Biochemistry and Mathematics from Regis University
• MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) from San Jose State University
• PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
• Postdoctoral research at Stanford University investigating antibiotic effects on the human microbiome through biochemical and bioinformatics approaches

Dr. Dinalo's research expertise bridges biomedical sciences and information science, with primary focus on research data lifecycle management. Her work enables researchers to navigate complex data challenges from acquisition to publication, emphasizing FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles and computational reproducibility in health sciences research.
