Jennifer Cupar serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Lawyering Skills at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she directed the Legal Writing, Leadership, Experiential Learning, Advocacy, and Professionalism (LLEAP) program from 2022 to 2025. Her career includes federal judicial clerkships with The Honorable Patricia A. Gaughan and The Honorable Solomon Oliver, Jr., plus litigation practice at multiple law firms prior to joining the faculty.
Her academic expertise centers on litigation, legal writing, and professional responsibility, reflected in courses including Professional Responsibility, LLEAP sequences, Race/Law/Society, and Federal Judicial Externship. She actively advances legal education through national speaking engagements on writing pedagogy and leadership in the Legal Writing Institute's Teaching Resources Committee.
