Jennifer Collins

Jennifer Collins serves as Associate Professor in the Biblical Studies, Christian Ministries, Intercultural Studies & Philosophy Department at Taylor University, where she has contributed for over 30 years. Her work bridges biblical scholarship and practical missions, focusing on Gen Z engagement with global ministry and short-term mission best practices.

Recent publications analyze service-learning trips for emerging adults and biblical foundations for evangelism among justice-oriented Gen Z, reflecting her dual focus on generational studies and missional theology. These works demonstrate consistent exploration of how young adults engage with scripture and global ministry.

Collins actively networks with missions organizations, curates mission resources, and produces podcasts/webinars on topics like short-term mission follow-up and crisis response. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes integrating faith with learning to prepare students for intercultural ministry vocations.

She has traveled extensively to countries including Israel, Ireland, Greece, Czech Republic, India, Singapore, Indonesia, and Paraguay, enriching her cross-cultural expertise through direct experience.
