Jennifer Coburn-Engquist is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities at Ferris State University's College of Arts, Sciences & Education. She has extensively studied how digital environments shape self-presentation and learning dynamics, including innovative uses of double-robot systems in classrooms.
From 2000-2001, her work focused on discursive constructions of social problems through analyses of child sexual abuse narratives, family representations in media, and institutional policies. Since 2019, she has advanced research on technology-enhanced education, particularly robotic presence in virtual classrooms.
