Jennifer Chapman

Jennifer Chapman is a Professor in the Music and Theatre Arts Department at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, College of Arts and Sciences, with affiliate status in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre Research (Theatre for Youth emphasis) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in Theatre/Acting and Psychology from San Francisco State University.

Research Focus

Dr. Chapman's scholarship examines high school theatre practices across the United States, with interdisciplinary expertise spanning Theatre for Youth, feminist performance, historical theatre analysis, and applied drama in education. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with community engagement.
