Jennifer Brello is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Speech and Hearing Science, The Ohio State University, and Director of the OSU Aphasia Initiative. With over 28 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, she specializes in adult neurogenic cognitive-communication disorders. Her work focuses on interprofessional clinical training involving students from Speech and Hearing Science, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Medical Dietetics.
She has received significant recognition, including Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, the Group Recognition Award for the ECLiPSE Program, and the 2021 Field Instructor of the Year. Her professional activities include presenting at national/international conferences and leading the OSU Aphasia Initiative since its founding in 2015 with a development grant.
