Jennifer F. Biddle is the Mary A.S. Lighthipe Professor of Marine Studies at the University of Delaware's School of Marine Science & Policy. Her research focuses on microbial ecology of marine systems, deep biosphere life, benthic archaea and bacteria, and geobiology. She leads the Biddle Lab, which explores subsurface microbial processes and their impacts on global biogeochemical cycles.
