Jenni Samuelson is a Continuing Lecturer in Music at the University of California, Merced, affiliated with the Global Arts Studies Program within the School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and has extensive professional experience in opera, musical theater, and vocal performance.
Her research interests include vocal pedagogy, music education, and the intersection of performance traditions across classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Music Studies, Performative Storytelling, and The American Musical.
