Dr. Jennepher Downs is Head of the Development and Disability Research Program at Telethon Kids Institute and Adjunct Associate Professor at UWA Medical School, affiliated with UWA Centre for Child Health Research.
Research Focus: Her work centers on rare disorders including Rett syndrome, CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder, MECP2 Duplication, and Prader-Willi syndrome, as well as common neurodevelopmental conditions like Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. She developed the Quality of Life Inventory-Disability (QI-Disability) instrument for children with intellectual disability.
