Jenna Scisco

Dr. Jenna Scisco is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Eastern Connecticut State University. She specializes in research on workplace wellbeing, obesity bias, and eating behaviors, with notable contributions to the development of the 'Bite Counter' device for tracking eating activity. Previously, she served as a research psychologist for the U.S. Army’s Military Nutrition Division before joining Eastern.

Her education includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Human Factors Psychology from Clemson University. She teaches courses such as Research Methods, Statistics, and Physiological Psychology, and leads the Health and Human Performance Lab, where students investigate topics like treadmill desk benefits and nutrition technology.
