Jenna Cramer

Jenna Cramer is an Associate Lecturer and Program Coordinator for the Gifted and Talented Add-On Licensure Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's School of Education. With over 15 years of experience across Wisconsin school districts including Madison Metropolitan, Waunakee, and Lodi, she has served as classroom teacher, ELL teacher, interventionist, reading specialist, and literacy coach, maintaining a strong focus on supporting marginalized student populations.

Her academic background features an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College (2016) complemented by extensive professional licensing: Administrator License (2013), Gifted and Talented Coordinator License (2023), Gifted and Talented Teaching License (2022), Reading Specialist License (2013), Reading Teacher License (2012), English as a Second Language License (2009), and Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence Teaching License (2009).

Dr. Cramer's research centers on Access and Equity initiatives for Advanced Learners and Multilingual Learners, with significant contributions to Disciplinary Literacy frameworks and Early Literacy interventions. Her work in Gifted & Talented education pioneers Talent Development models that integrate Literacy Instruction across diverse educational contexts, directly informing her curriculum design for educator licensure programs.

As Program Coordinator, she directs the Gifted and Talented Add-On Licensure Program while teaching core courses including EDUC 314 (Nature and Needs of the Gifted), EDUC 791 (Foundations of Gifted and Talented Education), and literacy-focused graduate seminars. Her professional leadership extends to the Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted Board of Directors (2022-present) alongside active membership in the National Association for Gifted Children, Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English, International Literacy Association, and Wisconsin State Reading Association.
