Jenna Cook

Jenna Cook, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Communications and Media Management department at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, where she also serves as Assistant Dean for Seniors. She holds a Ph.D. in Literacy from St. John's University, an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from New Jersey City University.

Her professional focus includes academic advising, holistic learning support, enrollment management, and curriculum development. She teaches the Career Exploration course at the Gabelli School and has previously taught writing, literature, and research courses as an adjunct at Berkeley College and Saint Peter's University. Her work emphasizes cura personalis (care for the whole person), integrating this philosophy into academic support and pedagogical strategies.

Cook’s experience spans over six years in higher education, with expertise in online and in-person teaching, retention strategies, and academic progress oversight for 600+ students. She holds certifications in tutoring, supplemental instruction, and assessment design. She collaborates with faculty to align curricula with institutional missions and improve completion rates.
