Jenene Craig

Jenene Craig is an Associate Professor and former Department Chair in the School of Occupational Therapy at Brenau University, part of the Ivester School of Health Sciences. She also serves as Program Director for the Infant and Early Childhood Development (IECD) program at Fielding Graduate University since 2019. Her career spans over four decades in occupational therapy, with a focus on developmental disabilities, mental health, and NICU caregiving.

Dr. Craig holds a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development (2015, Fielding Graduate University), an MBA (1988), and a BS in Occupational Therapy (1982). Her research emphasizes neuroprotective and developmentally supportive practices in neonatal care, informed by her personal experiences as a mother of six and her clinical work since 1985.

In 2023, she authored a blog post commemorating retiring faculty in the IECD program, highlighting their foundational contributions to the field. Her academic leadership has driven innovative academic programs at Brenau.
