Jen Caruso

Jen Caruso is an Associate Professor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the State University of New York and an MA from the Center for the Study of Theory and Criticism at the University of Western Ontario. Her research focuses on socially-engaged art practices, the intersection of aesthetics and late capitalism, and cultural responses to climate change.

Her recent work includes an essay on alienated labor in William Gibson’s novels, published in Alien Imaginations: Science Fiction and Tales of Transnationalism (Bloomsbury).
