Jelena Martinčić

Jelena Martinčić is a Researcher at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, affiliated with the Division of Molecular Biology and the Laboratory for Cell Biology and Signalling. She focuses on cell biology, molecular biology, and plant genetics, particularly studying mitotic spindle dynamics, microtubule interactions, and enzyme activity in Brassica species.

Her recent publications span topics such as optogenetic control of chromosomal processes, characterization of stem cells for clinical applications, and molecular markers in crop authentication. Her work integrates biophysics, enzyme regulation, and plant protein signaling.
